The FAB weekends are organised by Leona Downey who makes the events smooth running and fun.  She does work very hard to make sure we were all looked after and have everything we need.  She is well supported by Celia Cochrane who helps with the administration and finances etc.  Leona and Celia also provide smaller projects for Friday evening and Sunday morning.

Ruth Garner is the project facilitator ably assisted by Kim Wilson (Creeky Chicks). The projects are well planned in advance and during the last weekend there was so much choice that everyone was happy!  Ruth and Kim send regular tweets to Twitter so people could follow the weekend events if they want to. 

This events are run in association with the Bead & Button Bazaar at Earlswood Craft Centre and Joan Bridges  provids a good range of essentials beads and findings. Photographs have been kindly produced by Barbara Jukes and these provide us with a wonderful visual catalogue of events and products.

Finally, the delegates are always a lovely selection of ladies  from across the West Midlands and beyond.  We would like to thank all of them for making the weekends such a success.  In addition, we had a number of ladies who come to sew rather than bead, or do both, in a relaxed and comfortable environment and it's lovely to have them join us.
